Technology Procurement Request

Please start here if your purchase is related to technology, regardless of dollar value or funding source.

This includes:

• Software or software as a service (SaaS)

• (Note: SaaS means a hosted, pay-as-you-go monthly or annual software subscription)

• Information Technology (IT) hardware or IT equipment -- except for workplace computer hardware (e.g. laptops, monitors)

• (Note: For workplace computer hardware requests, you should go directly to your Technology Support Center)

• IT professional services (e.g. software implementation/configuration/development); and

• Software or IT hardware maintenance or support

This applies whether this is a new purchase, you want to add more licenses or extend services, or you’re just evaluating technology offerings in the marketplace.

Requests of this nature must be submitted here to ensure proper vetting by KU Procurement and KU IT.

This includes technology you intend to purchase with a P-card.
