 I received an error when trying to pay a ticket online. What happened?

Answer

The most common error encountered with online ticket payments is an address mismatch error.

When filling out the shipping and billing for the credit card information, make sure they both match the billing address for the card as the bank has it on file. It is recommended that you call your bank to make sure what you have matches what they have.

Wait about 30 minutes then try again to avoid another common error, which is when it fails for a duplicate transaction attempt.

If you continue to experience errors, payment can be made in the Transportation Services office, or by check/money order through the mail (1501 Irving Hill Rd, Lawrence, KS 66045; if mail payment is postmarked before the late fee applies, the late fee is waived. Please be sure to include the ticket, ticket number, or license plate number from the citation so that payment can be properly applied).
